इंडिगो अपने क्षेत्रीय नेटवर्क को बढ़ाने की बना रही योजना, खरीदेगी 100 छोटे विमान

नई दिल्ली। भारत की सबसे बड़ी एयरलाइन इंडिगो 100 छोटे विमान खरीदने की तैयारी कर रही है। कंपनी अपने क्षेत्रीय नेटवर्क को बढ़ाने की योजना बना रही है। इसके लिए उसे छोटे विमान चाहिए। इस सौदे के लिए उसकी एटीआर, एम्ब्रेयर और एयरबस के साथ बातचीत चल रही है। इंडिगो पहले से ही 78 सीटों वाली 45 एटीआर-72 विमानों का संचालन कर रही है। हालांकि, एयरबस ए-220 और एम्ब्रेयर के ई-175 विमान भी होड़ में हैं। इंडिगो ने पिछले साल एयरबस को 500 विमानों का ऑर्डर दिया था, जो एविएशन के इतिहास में सबसे बड़ा ऑर्डर था। इंडिगो के सीईओ पीटर एल्बर्स ने अप्रैल में कहा था कि महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य 2030 तक एयरलाइन का आकार दोगुना करना है।

इंडिगो अंतरराष्ट्रीय मार्गों के बाद देश में अपने नेटवर्क को और मजबूत कर रह रही है। इससे पहले एयरलाइन ने 25 अप्रैल को 30 एयरबस ए-350-900 विमानों के ऑर्डर देने की घोषणा की थी। एटीआर के अलावा, इंडिगो के बेड़े में एयरबस ए-320 और ए-321 शामिल हैं। इंडिगो की भारत के घरेलू एयर ट्रैफिक में 60 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी है। कंपनी कम आबादी वाले शहरों में अवसर देख रही है। हवाई अड्डे के बेहतर बुनियादी ढांचे और सरकार की उड़ान (उड़े देश का आम नागरिक) योजना से इन शहरों में एयर ट्रैफिक की मांग बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।
