जोमैटो से खाना मंगाना हुआ महंगा, जानिए कितना प्रतिशत बढ़ा चार्ज
नई दिल्ली। ऑनलाइन फूड डिलीवरी कंपनी जोमैटो ने प्लेटफॉर्म चार्ज 25 प्रतिशत बढ़ा दिया है। इसका मतलब है कि अब जोमैटो से खाना मंगाना थोड़ा महंगा पड़ेगा। जोमैटो के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि अब ग्राहकों को हर ऑर्डर पर चार के बजाय पांच रुपये प्लेटफॉर्म चार्ज के रूप में देने होंगे। यह बढ़ोतरी लागू भी हो गई है। दीपिंदर गोयल की कंपनी जोमैटो सालाना लगभग 85-90 करोड़ ऑर्डर डिलीवर करता है। इस हिसाब से प्लेटफॉर्म फीस 1 रुपया प्रति ऑर्डर बढ़ाने से जोमैटो के EBITDA में सालाना 85 से 90 करोड़ रुपये का इजाफा होने का अनुमान है। जोमैटो ने अपनी ‘इंटरसिटी लीजेंड्स’ सर्विस को भी बंद कर दिया है।
कंपनी इंटरसिटी फूड डिलीवरी सर्विस के जरिए प्रमुख शहरों के बड़े रेस्टोरेंट्स से दूसरे शहरों के ग्राहकों तक ऑर्डर डिलीवर करती थी। जोमैटो ने प्लेटफॉर्म चार्ज लेने की शुरुआत पिछले साल अगस्त से की थी। उस वक्त कंपनी ग्राहकों से प्रति ऑर्डर दो रुपये वसूलती थी। बाद में इसे बढ़ाकर 3 और फिर 4 रुपये किया गया। अब जोमैटो प्रति ऑर्डर ग्राहकों से 5 रुपये वसूलेगी। जोमैटो ने पिछले साल अगस्त में दो रुपए प्लेटफॉर्म चार्ज लेना शुरू किया था। बाद में इसे बढ़ाकर 3 रुपए और 1 जनवरी 2024 से 4 रुपए कर दिया था।
जोमैटो ने पिछले दिनों लार्ज ऑर्डर फ्लीट भी पेश किया था। जोमैटो के फाउंडर और सीईओ दीपिंदर गोयल के मुताबिक- यह दस्ता पार्टी जैसे इवेंट में एक साथ अधिकतम 50 लोगों का खाना डिलीवर करेगा। इससे ग्राहकों को बड़ा ऑर्डर देने में सहूलियत होगी। जोमैटो अभी अपने इस फ्लीट में टेंपरेचर कंट्रोल जैसी कई सुविधाएं जोड़कर और बेहतर बनाएगा। आज जोमैटो के शेयर शुरुआती कारोबार में करीब 2 फीसदी तक उछल गए थे। इसने पिछले छह महीने में निवेशकों को लगभग 76 और एक साल में 242 प्रतिशत का रिटर्न दिया है। 2024 में अब तक की बात करें, तो भी निवेशकों को 54 फीसदी से अधिक मुनाफा हुआ है। जोमैटो अपने चौथी तिमाही के नतीजे अगले महीने यानी मई के मध्य में जारी करेगी।
