Dehradun News: उत्तराखंड (Uttarakhand) के लैंसडाउन में डॉप्लर रडार लगने जा रहा है. रक्षा मंत्रालय ने मौसम विभाग को डॉप्लर राडार लगाने के लिए लैंसडाउन ने जमीन दे दी है.
लैंसडाउन में डॉप्लर राडार लगने से रुद्रप्रयाग चमोली और पौड़ी के मौसम के पूर्वानुमान में बड़ी मदद मिलेगी. उत्तराखंड में इससे पहले दो डॉप्लर रडार नई टिहरी के सुरकंडा और नैनीताल के मुक्तेश्वर में लगाए जाने का काम किया जा रहा है. यानी कि अब आपदा के क्षेत्र मौसम के पूर्वानुमान को लेकर इन डॉप्लर रडार को लगने से बड़ी मदद प्रदेश को मिलने जा रही है.
लंबे समय से की जा रही मशक्कत
लंबे समय से की जा रही मशक्कत के बाद भी अब तक डॉप्लर रडार नहीं लग पा रहे थे. ताकि आपदा या विषम परिस्थिति में अलर्ट रहा जा सके. प्रदेश में समय समय पर आने वाली आपदाओं की स्थिति में डॉप्लर रडार काफी मददगार साबित होते हैं, जो सटीक मौसम के बारे में पूर्वानुमान 24 घंटे पहले ही बता देते हैं.
